National Wildlife Certified Habitat
Since 2006 Audubon Park has been recognized by the National Wildlife Federation as a Certified Wildlife Habitat. More than 65 acres of Audubon Park community lowlands, wetlands, woods and homeowner property met NWF certification standards by providing local wildlife with food, water, and shelter needed to survive and flourish. Our certification by the NWF ranks Audubon Park as one of the largest in more than 70,000 certified NWF wildlife habitats.
Signs identifying Audubon Park as a NWF Wildlife Certified Habitat are posted at the community entrances. It is our hope these signs will inspire residents and guests to help us keep our entire neighborhood clean, provide food, water and shelter for local wildlife, and to adopt conservation and ecological practices to preserve our great community.
